Fatima Al Qadiri is a Senegal-born, Kuwait-reared, NY-based artist and musician (phew). We adore her androgynous and crisp style, which plays to futuristic sculpture more so than to seasonal trends. Check out her demure take on 90s alternative fashion, and our Fatima-inspired Pintrest board. Her latest EP, titled Desert Strike, dropped this month, and is inspired by her childhood in Kuwait during Operation Desert Strike. You can also see her collaboration with Qatari filmmaker Sophia Al-Maria, described as a “love letter to dubstep”, here. Be sure to listen to her latest EP below, too! Dig her jams but not her duds? Are you wondering how to bite her swag? Let it all out in our comment section!
